This is my first foray into Mailbox Mondays. It's nice to know others are excited by our new arrivals as well. So...in the mail this week:
The Monkey and the Organ Grinder by Sam Moffie-ARC (actually a true copy but to be reviewed)
Letters Between Us by Linda Rader Overman-ARC (also a true copy), from the author herself after a personal request.
Yellowknife by Steve Zipp-a gift from the author, a fellow Canuck. This will be one of my 13 to be read and reviewed in this year's Canadian Book Challenge.
The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards-won in a random drawing at Reading Group Choices, Penguin Books. This is my latest giveaway, open until midnight Wednesday October 15.
Traffic by Tom Vanderbilt-won at Bookclubs.ca. It is also one of my giveaways (after a gentle read), open until midnight Wednesday, October 8.
The Old Men at the Zoo by Angus Wilson-a Bookmooch acquisition all the way from Dubai.
Sandra, welcome to Mailbox Monday!
ReplyDeleteYou got a ton of books this week! I have The Organ Grinder and the Monkey for review also.
What a great week for books! I'm interested in reading your reviews for a few of them!

Welcome to Mailbox Monday! You did well this week! I'm looking forward to your review of Letters Between Us in particular.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by the 'Mailbox' this week. I've been seeing 'Traffic' the book, not cars, mentioned on several book specific sites, not necessarily blogs. I keep thinking I should buy my spouse a copy as he is a traffic engineer by profession. Everywhere we go it's traffic this, traffic that.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Mailbox Monday! What a great list of books!
