The Man Booker Prize 2010 winner announcement will be broadcast by the BBC from London's Guildhall at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 12 October 2010."

Which have you read and what did you think of them? Which can you recommend that I have not read? If you've posted a list of your Booker reads, or reviewed any of them, please leave a link. I'd love to read them.

  2. Sorry Serena, the title just means I intend to read all the Booker Prize winners-eventually. That's just what the originator of the challenge named it.

    I am also started reading-

  5. Veens: The Gathering didn't do a lot for me but I loved The God of Small Things. I'll be interested to see what you think after you're done.
As you can tell from my lists I often enjoy the shortlisted ones as much or more as the final winner.

  6. I'm doing the challenge too! I recommend 'A Fine Balance' by Rohinton Mistry. It's the best book I've read in a long time.
Good luck on completing the challenge!

  7. Some of the ones I enjoyed that haven't already been mentioned are:
    The Bookshop by Penelope Fitzgerald
Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha by Roddy Doyle
    Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai

I own quite a few on the list that I just haven't gotten to read yet but I don't see myself up to joining a challenge given how poorly I did on the challenges I entered this year! :D

  9. I've decided to do the challenge too - though all the prize winners that I have read so far have been in the first poerson, and that has put me off a bit. It is not my favourite viewpoint.

I am trying to keep track of other bloggers following my lists. I'm going to add a link to your post on my Booker list post -- please let me know when you update us on your progress and I will update the link.
