I started reading at 1:30 pm. My computer was not available until now so this is my first post. In 3 hours I've read 145 pages of Hard Rain, a mystery by Janwillem Van De Wetering. I'm not very fast right now since I've been ill.
I was thinking of tomorrow's Mystery Read-a-thon and grabbed this book, but it's good so I don't mind.
I will read Carpentaria next by Alexis Wright, an Australian Aboriginal. At 500 plus pages, it will keep me busy for a long while I expect.
Have fun everyone.
Good luck with the challenge.
ReplyDeleteI'm joining in in a little while and can't wait.
Good Luck Sandra. I have completed two books and on a break. Will continue at 7pm tonight.
ReplyDeleteKeep it up your doing good. :)

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you were doing this challenge, too! Very cool. I was supposed to start this morning but I am just now getting started in a minute. Don't worry about being slow, I will be too because I haven't been feeling well, either. I look forward to seeing more updates!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with this challenge. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteGood going. You seem to be having the same problem that I am with spotty internet connection.

ReplyDeleteWhat better way to recuperate if you aren't feeling well than by curling up and reading!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Sandra! It would have been the perfect weekend for me to participate, but then my in-laws decided to come for a visit. Oh well. Maybe next time.
