48 Hour Reading Challenge - Beginning

Hosted by Mother Reader.

I started reading at 1:30 pm. My computer was not available until now so this is my first post. In 3 hours I've read 145 pages of Hard Rain, a mystery by Janwillem Van De Wetering. I'm not very fast right now since I've been ill.

I was thinking of tomorrow's Mystery Read-a-thon and grabbed this book, but it's good so I don't mind.

I will read Carpentaria next by Alexis Wright, an Australian Aboriginal. At 500 plus pages, it will keep me busy for a long while I expect.

Have fun everyone.

  4. I didn't realize you were doing this challenge, too! Very cool. I was supposed to start this morning but I am just now getting started in a minute. Don't worry about being slow, I will be too because I haven't been feeling well, either. I look forward to seeing more updates!
