A Cupboard Full Of Coats really looks good!
ReplyDeleteOh, loving the 20's/vintage feel to the first two covers. Enjoy your reading!
ReplyDeleteInteresting selection of books. I'd be interested in A Soldier's Wife.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the US can't get The Sense of an Ending yet. I've heard they're stepping up the schedule to October rather than January, though.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Jamrach's Menagerie but my library doesn't have it yet. :-(
These covers are all pretty stunning! I have The Soldier's Wife in line waiting to be read.
ReplyDeleteThe London Train has a very cool cover!
ReplyDeleteNew follower here!
ReplyDeleteA Cupboard Full of Coats does look like an intriguing read.
Here are my Monday Memes
The Soldier's Wife is supposedly an excellent read, I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fabulous reading week and if you get a second stop by to see what I've been reading at There's A Book! :)
A cupboard full of Coats and the Ondaatje book (didn't know he had a new one out) are the two which really interest me. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to check out The Soldier's Wife...it looks good.
ReplyDeleteStop by and see what I have going on this week at Always With a Book
It looks like we had similar feelings for State of Wonder - I liked it but didn't love it. I hope you read lots of great books this week.
ReplyDeletereferred over by The Boston Bibliophile- look like some interesting reads, especially loving the covers on the Tessa Hadley and Ondaatje books. Love the title on the Julian Barnes, and will look forward to hearing more about how you like it.
ReplyDeleteCats Table and The London Train are both on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteThree-quarters of what I read this week was in the form of children's picture books. Please come see what they were.
I've got State of Wonder on audio and The Solider's Wife on the stacks. A Cupboard Full of Coats has me intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous you've read The Cat's Table!! I'm dying to!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all your reads :)
ReplyDeleteSeveral of your books are on my wish list, including the new Ann Patchett, THE BELLS, and the Julian Barnes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reading, Sandra!
Sandra;
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling well.
I have a recommendation. "The Things We Cherished' by Jenoff where two lawyers travel to Germany to defend a man against WWII crimes and uncover a tender and well wtitten love story. This mixes history, mystery and romance in a well written novel.
I'm having a giveaway for this thru 10-28
