All worth reading this week. My favourite was A Cupboard Full of Coats. Highly recommended.

  4. I can't believe the US can't get The Sense of an Ending yet. I've heard they're stepping up the schedule to October rather than January, though.

    I really want to read Jamrach's Menagerie but my library doesn't have it yet. :-(

  12. referred over by The Boston Bibliophile- look like some interesting reads, especially loving the covers on the Tessa Hadley and Ondaatje books. Love the title on the Julian Barnes,and will look forward to hearing more about how you like it.

    Hope you're feeling well.
    I have a recommendation. "The Things We Cherished' by Jenoff where two lawyers travel to Germany to defend a man against WWII crimes and uncover a tender and well wtitten love story. This mixes history, mystery and romance in a well written novel.
