  1. I always find this lists salivating! So many wonderful Asia authors all in one place. :) That being said, I didn't get along at all w 2011's winner so I suspect the judges and I have different tastes.

  2. I read The Briefcase when I discovered it was on this list. It was a very lovely read, but then again, I can't think of a Japanese novel which hasn't thrilled me. So glad to see your comment on the JLC7 to come; I do hope you'll join in again. xo
