Hey Sandra - thanks for stopping by!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I really liked the Batya Gur books - I was very disappointed when I went to look for the 7th Michael Ohayon book and realized that there wouldn't be any more. Especially since the setup at the end of the 6th would have been so interesting to read. :(
Pigeon and a Boy was my first Shalev too, but I have a few others and I'll definitely read more. I'm just about to start Rabbi's Cat 2.
I noticed you're in the Jewish Book Challenge - I was going to join, but I had already decided on the 999 challenge on librarything and since I'll be reading mainly Israeli authors for that, I figured it wouldn't be much of a "challenge" per se... I am following it, though, and have already got a few adds to my wishlist from it. Great challenge!!
Sandra, thank you for posting about this! I've already read five translated books this year! I'm definitely signing up.
